About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious, analytical Financial Analyst to join our Semiconductor Business Unit Finance organization. Reporting into the Business Unit Controller, this role provides core financial planning, analysis, and accounting support across multiple semiconductor product divisions.
As an ICB2 professional, you have developed foundational financial acumen and are ready to apply your expertise to problems of moderate scope. You will evaluate variable business factors, exercise sound judgment within established procedures, and collaborate cross-functionally across global engineering, operations, and corporate teams. Straightforward tasks and recurring deliverables will be managed independently, with guidance and mentorship provided on more complex, non-routine projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
● Forecasting & Budgeting: Support core financial planning cadences, including quarterly forecast cycles, annual operating budgets, and long-range strategic plans for business operating expenses (OpEx), headcount, and capital expenditures (CapEx).
● Business Partnership: Partner with division leaders and engineering program managers to monitor spending trends, evaluate run-rates, and identify budget risks and opportunities.
● Variance & Performance Reporting: Partner with senior analysts to prepare monthly and quarterly executive review packages, analyzing actuals versus forecast/budget and delivering meaningful variance commentary.
● Business Intelligence & Automation: Assist in designing, testing, and adopting enhanced BI dashboards and automated reporting tools (Incorta) to streamline financial reporting workflows.
Accounting & Financial Governance
● Month-End Close: Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities, including reviewing general ledger transactions, preparing and posting journal entries, and calculating accruals in compliance with US GAAP and corporate accounting policies.
● Asset Tracking & Controls: Coordinate the annual fixed asset audit and reconciliation exercise across designated lab and development sites.
● Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, company policies, and SOX compliance standards across all managed cost centers.
Ad Hoc & Strategic Projects
● Decision Support: Conduct ad hoc financial modeling and analysis on business initiatives, contract spend, and project investments as directed by the Business Unit Controller.
● Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve financial data integrity, reporting efficiency, and cross-functional handoffs.
Job Level Criteria (Scope & Autonomy)
● Knowledge & Scope: Applies developing professional expertise and company policies/procedures to resolve a variety of routine and non-routine business issues.
● Complexity & Problem-Solving: Analyzes problems of moderate scope where evaluating multiple operational factors and data sources is required. Exercises sound judgment within established guidelines to determine appropriate action.
● Autonomy & Direction: Executes standard, recurring workflows independently; receives general guidance and objectives on new, multi-faceted assignments.
● Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Builds productive working relationships across global teams (operations, marketing, engineering, corporate accounting).

○ Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (e.g., complex formulas, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, nested logic, Pivot Tables, data modeling).

Core Competencies:
○ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
○ Demonstrated ability to prioritize deliverables and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
