THE JOB:
As a Banquet Beverage leader at Mandalay Bay, you will oversee banquet beverage operations while partnering closely with Catering, Banquet Service, Stewarding, and Set-Up teams to ensure seamless event execution. You will lead and support the banquet beverage team, maintain service and operational standards, and help deliver polished, memorable experiences for meetings, conventions, and special events throughout the property.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Schedule all regular employees and part time employees in relation to staffing levels as business dictates.
• Work closely with Catering, Banquet Service and Banquet Stewarding department to assure efficient execution of Banquet functions.
• Maintain quality standards in preparation and service of all beverage services.
• Responsible for conducting monthly inventories, maintaining established pars and ordering necessary items.
• Set and maintain company and departmental standards as well as state and local health & safety standards.
• Maintain accessibility and availability to departmental employees.
• Responsible for commending and disciplining employees.
• Maintain accurate paperwork for payroll, records, employment, etc.
• Control labor and product cost.
• Attend daily BEO meeting.
• Communicate to employees’ policies, procedures, standards and expectations.
• Supervise and direct bartenders during set-up, service and breakdown.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Is 21+ years of age
• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Preferred
• Previous experience working in a similar resort setting Preferred
• High School Diploma or GEDA related field, or equivalent experienceRequired
