About the role

Together with passion!

Search is changing. AI is providing answers, and digital assistants may soon play a relevant role in purchasing decisions. Want to help shape how people discover events and find tickets? Bring your GEO and SEO expertise to EVENTIM.

In this role, you will help develop our international strategy for organic visibility – from traditional search engines to AI platforms. You will follow emerging developments, test what they mean for our business and turn your findings into concrete initiatives. You will work closely with our international companies and teams across Product, Engineering and Marketing.

Your Part in the Show

  • International GEO and SEO strategy: Develop our strategy for organic visibility and prioritise initiatives based on their commercial potential.
  • Guidance for local companies: Act as a sparring partner for local companies, challenge existing approaches, drive global initiatives and share best practices.
  • AI search and agentic commerce: Follow and test emerging developments and standards such as UCP, ACP and MCP. Turn findings into ideas for how people discover events and buy tickets.
  • Organic visibility: Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Marketing to help search engines and AI systems find, understand and present our content more effectively.
  • Testing and measurement: Develop prompt sets, benchmark our visibility against competitors and analyse mentions, citations, referral traffic and commercial outcomes, while keeping the limitations of measurement in mind.
  • Initiative delivery: Bring together the right internal and external partners and drive projects from the initial idea through to implementation and evaluation.

What You Bring to the Stage

  • Professional experience: Several years of experience in SEO, organic growth or digital commerce, ideally in international e-commerce or a marketplace.
  • GEO and AI search: Hands-on experience with GEO, AEO and AI search within the last 12 months, with examples of tests or projects you have led.
  • SEO expertise: Strong knowledge of technical, content and international SEO, plus an understanding of how AI-powered search systems discover and present information.
  • Agentic AI and commerce: Interest in emerging developments and the ability to assess what they mean for event discovery and ticket purchasing.
  • Analytical skills: Experience analysing data, measuring results and turning findings into clear recommendations.
  • Collaboration and advice: Ability to influence stakeholders, build capabilities and guide independent international teams. Clear communication and confidence acting as a sparring partner for senior stakeholders.
  • Working style and languages: A commercial mindset, curiosity and a pragmatic, independent approach to new topics. Strong English skills for daily collaboration; fluency in German is a strong advantage.

Your Backstage Benefits

  • Take time off: Enjoy 30 days of annual leave and the option to take up to 15 additional days of unpaid leave.
  • Work flexibly: Benefit from flexible working hours and 25 days of workation in other EU countries.
  • Experience live entertainment: Enjoy sofa concerts, employee events, ticket discounts and opportunities to support event operations.
  • Keep learning: Develop your skills with GoFluent and Lunch & Learn sessions.
  • Look after your wellbeing: Access our mental health programme and company pension scheme.
  • Stay mobile: Benefit from a subsidy towards your Jobticket or Deutschlandticket and bike leasing.
  • Enjoy more benefits: Access Corporate Benefits and KESS discounts.
