About the role
About the Role
Join a cross-functional engineering team developing a terahertz imaging system for security applications. In this hands-on role, you will own mixed-signal board bring-up, debugging, and integration, while helping mature the hardware for increased production.
What You'll Do
Lead board-level bring-up, power sequencing validation, and subsystem integration across multiple board designs.
Investigate signal integrity, power, and RF performance issues, identify root causes, and drive design iterations.
Coordinate with an external design firm on schematic updates and layout reviews, then manage fabrication, characterization, and validation of revisions.
Work with FPGA, firmware, and systems engineers to validate subsystem and system-level integration.
Develop traceability and test procedures to support increased production volume.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3 to 7 years of relevant experience.
Experience designing mixed-signal hardware, including ADCs, DACs, DC/DC converters, and RF interfaces.
End-to-end board design experience using Altium, including schematic capture, layout, controlled-impedance routing, and power protection circuits.
Hands-on experience bringing up and debugging complex PCB assemblies, including power sequencing, signal integrity, and mixed-signal validation.
Familiarity with FPGA bring-up, Petalinux, AMD Kria SOM, Python, high-speed digital systems, and lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
Background in telecom, radar, or complex sensing systems is helpful. Ability to work across disciplines and independently solve problems is important.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $160,000 to $180,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
