Job Description:

  • Reviews patient’s history and educates patient about the procedure.
  • Monitors and documents patient’s condition, responding to and reporting any adverse reactions. Identifies and corrects artifacts during EEG procedures.
  • Edits and forwards results to the attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
  • Scores, graphs, analyzes, documents, and reports results of diagnostic procedures.
  • Participates in departmental and organizational programs and staff development. Helps train Tech I, Tech II, and students.

  • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]


Work Experience:

  • 3+ experience in the neurodiagnostic field which includes two-year experience in their specialty modality of practice [Required]


Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered Electroencephalography Technician (REEGT) [Required]
  • Certification for Long Term Monitoring (CLTM) [Preferred]
  • Registered Evoked Potentials Technologist (REPT) [Preferred]
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

$26.89 - $50.01
