Work Based Learning Student Worker

New Britain High School is accepting student applications for work-based learning internships. 

These opportunities are designed exclusively for NBHS students who are interested in gaining real-world experience aligned with their career interests. 

Anticipated Start Date: Work schedules will vary based on the nature and scope of the assigned project. 

POSITION DETAILS

• Eligibility:
  • Must be a current New Britain High School student
  • Must have completed the Career Competency Workshops offered through the National Academy Foundation (NAF) Work-Based Learning (WBL) Office at NBHS

• Internship Details:
  • Positions are project-based and aligned with specific career themes.
  • Internships are temporary, requiring a minimum of 120 hours.
  • Successful completion will fulfill both the WBL internship and NBHS credit requirements.
  • Work schedules will vary based on the nature and scope of the assigned project.

SALARY 

• For the 2026-2027 school year, the pay rate is $16.94/hour.
