Substitute/Seasonal Custodians (Part-Time)

The Consolidated School District of New Britain is accepting applications for Substitute and Seasonal Custodian positions. 

These are part-time, on-call/as-needed roles that support school facilities throughout the district. 

POSITION DETAILS

• Position Type: Substitute and/or Seasonal
• Schedule: On-call basis; work location may vary daily based on district needs
• Shifts Available:
  • First Shift: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Second Shift: 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
• Prior custodial experience is preferred

• Your shift preference (first or second shift)

Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis as positions become available throughout the school year and summer months.

SALARY 

• For the 2026-2027 school year, the pay rate is $18.94/hour.
