Job Summary

The Education Specialist / General Education Intervention Teacher provides specialized academic instruction, targeted intervention, and instructional support to students in a K–12 Independent Study program. This position is responsible for supporting students with diverse learning needs, including students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), as well as general education students requiring additional academic assistance.
The position is divided equally between special education services and general education intervention, working collaboratively with classroom teachers, families, service providers, and school administration to promote student achievement, engagement, and academic growth.
