Night Custodian - Multiple Positions (27-03)

Job Summary

Directly responsible to the Custodial Supervisor. Performs custodial work in an assigned area to support a clean, safe, and orderly environment for students and staff. Performs other related work as directed.

NOTE: These positions will support the enrollment needs that arise throughout the District and the school site assignment may change at the discretion of the District.
Initial placement will be:

Job Opening #1
Village / Dr Ralph Baker (Roving)
Standard position hours: 6 hrs/day. Position hours for 26/27 school year: 8 hrs/day (includes the addition of 2 hours/day based on an MOU)
Schedule for the 26/27 school year: Mon-Thurs 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM; Fri/Min Days 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Job Opening #2
Challenger / Endeavour (Roving)
Position hours: 5.5 hours/day
Schedule: Mon-Thurs 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Fri/Min Days 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM

During Summer, October, Fall, Winter, Spring breaks and non-student days, start time is 6:00 AM

Requirements / Qualifications

MATERIALS:
• Possession of a valid California Drivers License

EXPERIENCE:
Required:
• A minimum of one (1) year paid experience in a custodial or related field
Desired:
• Prior employment as a custodian for a large facility or school district

EDUCATION:
Required:
• High School Diploma or equivalent

TESTING:
Applications will be screened. Applicants who pass the initial screening will be invited to test. Testing is tentatively scheduled to take place Friday, 12/4/2026.
