As a Structural Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with metal-connected wood truss design while contributing to projects that help customers build strong, reliable structures. What You Will Do:

• Work within custom truss design and engineering software to support structural design activities.
• Partner with engineering teams across multiple locations throughout the United States and Canada.
• Learn the fundamentals of roof and floor truss design for residential construction.
• Assist with load analysis and application of customer specifications for residential and commercial prefabricated trusses.
• Gain exposure to engineering workflows and processes that support efficient project execution.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes and provide fresh perspectives that drive continuous improvement.
• Build an understanding of construction practices and prefabricated truss applications.

What You Bring (Requirements):

• Rising senior pursuing a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited program.
• Interest in residential and small- to mid-sized commercial construction.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to adapt to new systems, learning styles, and technologies.
• Desire to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) certification in the future.
• Open-minded, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated drive, initiative, and commitment to achieving results.

Compensation Information:

$26.00 - $28.10
