About the Opportunity:
About the Team:
You’ll be part of a high-energy, remote-first Customer Account Management team focused on growing the value our customers see from Employ. The team values accountability, continuous improvement, and shared success. CAMs work closely with CX, Security, Finance, and Legal, so collaboration across teams is a core part of the job. You’ll receive strong coaching through regular 1:1s and Gong call reviews, along with exposure to top-performing sellers across the customer base.
We hold ourselves to clear standards: consistent daily call activity, a steady cadence of weekly customer meetings, prompt lead response, accurate forecasting, and clean Salesforce data. In return, you’ll get the training, product enablement, and mentorship to hit your expansion targets and build a long-term career in sales.
What You’ll Do:
-
Own expansion opportunities across an assigned portfolio of existing low-touch customers, managing the sales process from initial outreach through close.
-
Partner with high-touch CAMs to identify and qualify expansion opportunities, supporting account outreach and relationship development.
-
Place a consistent volume of outbound calls and run personalized outreach cadences to establish relationships, uncover needs, and surface upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
-
Support high-touch outreach by building relationships across multiple stakeholders within an account, so expansion conversations never depend on a single contact.
-
Prepare for every touch with a point of view on what the customer isn’t using yet and why it matters, drawing on usage data, account history, and prior notes.
-
Lead customer meetings and conceptual product walkthroughs that connect Employ products to each customer’s goals, business outcomes, and ROI.
-
Partner with CX on renewals, leading the expansion conversation within the renewal.
-
Follow up on leads promptly and with sound judgment.
-
Keep Salesforce accurate and up to date with proper notes and updates, and contribute to the Weekly Expansion Forecast Meeting.
-
Consult on RFPs as needed, working across teams to deliver accurate, on-time responses.
-
Continuously develop your sales skills through coaching, call review, enablement sessions, and deal exposure.
What You Bring:
-
2–3 years of proven success in B2B sales, account management, customer success, or SDR/BDR roles (upsell, cross-sell, or closing experience preferred).
-
Experience selling SaaS or HR technology solutions.
-
Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Highspot, or ZoomInfo.
-
Comfort with high-volume outbound calling and personalized outreach to existing customers.
-
Ability to build relationships and multi-thread across stakeholders within an account.
-
Ability to connect product capabilities to a customer’s goals, business outcomes, and ROI.
-
Strong organizational skills, with the discipline to keep Salesforce updated with proper notes and updates.
-
Resilience and the ability to handle rejection while maintaining performance.
-
Coachability and a willingness to apply feedback quickly.
-
Curiosity about our products and a commitment to staying current on releases and the roadmap.
-
A collaborative, responsive working style with internal teams such as CX, Security, Finance, and Legal.
-
A competitive mindset focused on achieving and exceeding quota.
-
Strong motivation to build a long-term career in sales.
-
Clear and confident communication skills.
