ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Service Operations team’s mission is to drive the strategy, processes, and initiatives that enable LVT’s Customer Experience teams to deliver a world-class experience. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Strategy & Operations, the Service Operations Analyst is the subject matter expert and analytical engine for Client Services, owning major analytical and process initiatives from problem definition through delivery. The role pairs data analysis with hands-on process engineering so that teams in that domain operate with data-backed efficiency and quality, and partners with other post-sales teams wherever their work connects.
This particular position requires registering with the state of Utah as an Alarm Agent. This process includes a federal background check/fingerprinting and an application.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Intelligence & Analysis: Own the reporting suite and interactive dashboards that track the health of our Fleet. Use AI to pull SQL, Excel, and BI tools to run root-cause analysis (trend, correlation, and segmentation) that separates symptoms from drivers, and turn the findings into executive-ready summaries that justify workflow or system changes.
Systems & Process Innovation: Identify friction points, reporting and configuration gaps in the tools running off Oracle Fusion, lead optimization initiatives, and use data to prove their ROI and impact.
Work Management Optimization: Lead end-to-end optimization of work management within Client Services, including hand-offs, task accountability, escalation paths, and 3rd-party vendor performance. Map processes, identify bottlenecks, and deliver improvements with measurable outcomes.
Problem Definition & Delivery: Take on ambiguous, cross-team problems, define the problem before solving it, and carry initiatives through to delivery with minimal supervision and consistently high quality.
People-Centric Improvement: Partner with post-sales leadership to correlate team performance data with specific process or system gaps, and develop tactical solutions that help team members deliver a world-class experience consistently.
System Power-User: Serve as the go-to resource for Fleet Management on core service tools, ensuring system configurations are optimized for team efficiency and for granular, reliable data capture.
Service Playbook: Own and maintain the Service Playbook for Fleet Management, ensuring procedures are documented, accessible, grounded in data-verified best practices, and kept current as operations evolve.
Knowledge Sharing: Become the Subject Matter Expert document findings and share insights with peers to strengthen the team’s collective knowledge.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with adjacent post-sales teams so that new initiatives are practical, scalable, and embraced by the team members performing the work.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
Experience: 3–5+ years in Service Operations, Support or Field Service Operations, or a similar post-sales support environment.
Physical Asset Management: Experience managing physical assets, including fleet management (e.g., tracking location, utilization, maintenance, and disposition of deployed equipment or vehicles) and the systems and data that support it.
Data-Fluent Problem Solver: Proficiency in SQL and Excel is required. Experience building interactive dashboards in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc ) against live datasets, working knowledge of a cloud data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake), and use of CRM/ERP native reporting. Demonstrated root-cause analysis that moved a decision. Experience using Oracle is a plus.
Process Architect: Experience building, implementing, and simplifying work management workflows (e.g., second-level escalation pathing and 3rd-party vendor management) and documenting them so others can follow them.
Systems Fluency: Power-user experience with work management systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and ERPs (e.g., Oracle, Acumatica), including identifying configuration gaps that affect data quality.
Technical Proficiency: Proven ability to translate complex data sets into executive summaries that drive decision-making and justify workflow or system changes.
Influence & Communication: Ability to translate technical system changes and data insights into clear, actionable execution plans that team members at all levels can adopt.
Mentoring: Experience training or mentoring teammates, formally or informally.
Education: B.S. in Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
