Elementary Substitute Teacher - to establish a pool

Requirements / Qualifications

Complete and submit application, copy of transcripts and two (2) letters of recommendation (dated and signed w/in the current year)

The Basic Skills proficiency requirement for the Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit is met by Bachelor's Degree.

The Basic Skills proficiency is required for non Bachelor's Degree holders applying for an Emergency Substitute Teaching Permit for Prospective Teachers.

Required documents are minimum requirements.

Preferred documents (which will be given first priority in hiring) should also be attached include the following:

CA Credential - Multiple Subject/Education Specialist
or
Single Subject Credential/Pupil Services Credential/30 Day Sub Permit
or
Emergency Substitute Teaching Permit for Prospective Teachers

• Certification (Basic Skills Required for Prospective Sub Permit)
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Must have 2 current letters (dated w/in current year))
