Job Summary
Under the direction of the Site Principal, provide classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher, following the lesson plans/instructions provided. This role requires classroom management skills and flexibililty.
Requirements / Qualifications
Substitute Registration & Clearance Requirements
Registration and clearance as a certificated substitute with the Marin County Office of Education (MCOE) is required before submitting an application with the Mill Valley School District.
MCOE substitute clearance includes:
Live Scan fingerprinting
Current TB clearance
Completion of required mandated educator trainings
A valid California teaching credential or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit

Upload a copy of your MCOE confirmation email showing that you are currently registered and cleared as a certificated substitute.
Applications submitted without verification of current MCOE substitute clearance may be considered incomplete.
