Hiring Requirements (if offered a position):
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Provide documentation of a negative TB test completed within the last four years.
• Complete the required PublicSchoolWorks online trainings for school personnel (free of charge) with a passing score of 80% or higher.
• Watch the required orientation video and complete all new hire employment paperwork.

Nevada County Superintendent of Schools (NCSOS) works as a consortium and is responsible for hiring all the substitute teachers for our county office programs (Alt. Ed. and Sp. Ed.), as well as 10 Nevada County school districts and 3 county charter schools.
