We're looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our B2B Experiential Marketing team, serving as a strategic client leader and trusted partner while driving the planning and execution of live experiences for business audiences. This individual will lead client relationships, oversee program delivery, manage budgets and profitability, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver impactful experiences that support customer engagement, pipeline, partnership, and business objectives.

Success in this role requires a balance of client leadership, experiential marketing expertise, strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and executional excellence.

   Client Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact and trusted advisor across assigned accounts.
  • Build strong client relationships by understanding business objectives, marketing priorities, and organizational dynamics.
  • Lead strategic conversations that connect experiential marketing programs to broader business goals.
  • Facilitate client meetings, presentations, workshops, and program reviews with confidence.
  • Anticipate client needs, provide proactive counsel, and identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships and grow agency business.

Account / Program Management & Strategic Leadership

  • Lead a variety of B2B experiential marketing programs, including conferences, trade shows, executive events, customer and partner programs, sponsorships, hospitality, and employee engagement events, from concept through execution and post-event reporting.
  • Partner with Project Management to develop scopes of work, workbacks, staffing plans, and operational roadmaps.
  • Collaborate closely with strategy, creative, production, operations, finance, and analytics teams, serving as the voice of the client internally. Be the quarterback on behalf of the client.
  • Anticipate risks, solve challenges proactively, and maintain accountability for program performance, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Translate business objectives into experiential marketing strategies and recommendations.
  • Develop engagement programs for customers, prospects, partners, employees, and other business audiences that drive measurable results.
  • Bring forward innovative ideas informed by audience needs, customer journeys, industry trends, and marketplace insights.

Financial Accumen

  • Own program budgets, forecasts, reconciliations, and profitability management.
  • Develop estimates, scopes of work, change orders, and client proposals.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Support account growth through strong client stewardship and commercial management.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with the Business Director to support overall account and business objectives.

Business Development & Organic Growth

  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and agency services.
  • Contribute to account growth strategies, new business initiatives, and proposal development.
  • Bring forward innovative ideas that strengthen client partnerships and agency success.

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of account management experience within an experiential marketing, event marketing, sponsorship/activation, or integrated marketing agency.
  • Demonstrated experience leading B2B experiential programs including conferences, trade shows, executive events, customer and partner programs, sponsorships, hospitality, and other live business experiences.
  • Experience managing program budgets, scopes of work, forecasting, change orders, and profitability.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, including strategy, creative, production, operations, and field staff.
  • Strong understanding of event planning, production, staffing, vendor management, logistics, and onsite execution.
  • Experience working across both B2B and B2C programs preferred but B2B mandatory
  • Experience working across B2B programs and complex client organizations required.

Who Will Thrive in This Role

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Are passionate about experiential marketing and creating meaningful brand experiences.
  • Have led conferences, trade shows, executive events, sponsorships, hospitality, customer or partner programs, or other B2B experiences from planning through execution.
  • Enjoy balancing strategic client leadership with hands-on program delivery.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Take ownership and do whatever it takes to ensure program success.
  • Understand that no task is beneath you. One day may involve managing event setup onsite, while the next involves presenting recommendations to senior client leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agency-side experiential marketing experience.
  • Experience managing national B2B event portfolios, conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, executive programs, hospitality, or large-scale business events.
  • Experience managing event partners, production vendors, venues, staffing agencies, and onsite teams.
  • Experience supporting Fortune 500 clients and complex stakeholder organizations.
  • Experience managing integrated B2B campaigns that connect experiential, digital, content, communications, sales, and demand-generation channels.

Important Note

This is a B2B experiential marketing role. Successful candidates will have meaningful experience leading conferences, trade shows, executive events, customer and partner programs, sponsorships, hospitality, or other live business experiences, in addition to managing complex client relationships. Candidates whose experience is primarily consumer activation, shopper marketing, or production execution without B2B account and planning leadership are unlikely to be successful in this role.
