Job Description:

The W. P. Carey School of Business is hiring a Graduate Programs Student Services Manager to support the MS in Supply Chain Management programs, including West Valley campus and online students. The Program Manager coordinates and manages graduate business program operations, including academic advising, event and program management, daily operations, student communications, curriculum support, budget processes, and student retention strategies under the guidance of the Associate Director.

The Graduate Programs Student Services Manager will serve as the point of contact for MS in Supply Chain Management students and will support students from orientation through graduation.

This position will be based at the West Valley campus during on-campus days and may be required to work on the Tempe campus on occasion for trainings, workshops, required meetings, and program needs. Because this position is based at West Valley while much of the broader Program Operations team is based at Tempe, success in this role requires strong organization, sound judgment, follow-through, initiative, and the ability to manage day-to-day program needs independently and effectively.

This position requires someone who can demonstrate high-quality, detail-oriented work and manage many administrative tasks while maintaining a professional presence. The Program Manager must be aware of and responsive to students’ needs and concerns in a service-oriented work environment with an elevated level of professional communication and confidentiality. More than half of the student population is international, so cultural awareness, discretion, and thoughtful communication are essential.

This position is part of the larger Program Operations team working together to provide responsive, student-centered support and to build and maintain strong relationships with graduate students and internal partners. Management and support of various stakeholders such as college leadership, faculty, academic departments, admissions, recruiting, and university partners is expected.

With a flexible schedule to meet your work/life balance needs and those of your program, including a hybrid remote option, the Graduate Programs Student Services Manager is responsible for executing program strategies, advising domestic and international graduate business students, tracking academic progress, coordinating academic schedules, collaborating with faculty, supporting budget oversight, processing expenses and disbursements in accordance with the program budget, executing events, managing projects, planning academic calendars, and supporting continuity across the Program Operations team.

This position also oversees the planning and execution of an out-of-state experiential learning trip designed to connect students with industry, applied learning opportunities, and career-related professional development.

If you enjoy helping others succeed in a higher education environment, value collaboration, and appreciate ownership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement in your work, this may be the role for you. Opportunities such as professional development, participation on university committees, expanding your network across ASU, and occasional travel to support short international courses are available.
