What you’ll do:
Position Summary:
Turn approved APAC Engineering AI use cases into practical, trusted and sustainable solutions. The role combines user-needs discovery, hands-on development, delivery coordination, deployment and value measurement. AI strategy, platform policy and final prioritization remain with the relevant Engineering, IT and governance owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- User Needs Discovery and Value Definition: Engage engineering users to understand workflows, pain points and root causes, and translate user needs into clear VOC, feasible AI use cases, requirements and measurable success criteria.
- Hands-on AI Solution Development: Design, develop, test and deploy practical AI solutions, prototypes, agents and workflow automations, and continuously improve them based on user feedback.
- Digital Engineering Integration and Project Coordination: Support AI integration with engineering data and systems, and coordinate IT teams or external partners to deliver larger or more complex solutions.
- Deployment, Adoption and Value Realization: Pilot and deploy AI solutions, support user training and adoption, and track solution quality, usage and measurable business impact.
- Responsible AI Governance and Data Protection: Apply responsible AI and data governance throughout the solution lifecycle, including data quality and access, cybersecurity, privacy, intellectual property, source traceability, validation and appropriate human review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Automation, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years in software/application development, data analytics, automation, digital engineering or technical solution development.
- Hands-on Python plus practical experience with LLM applications, RAG and/or AI agents.
- Personally developed or substantially contributed to at least one AI solution taken into user testing or practical use.
- Able to clarify user needs, prepare data, integrate APIs, test solutions and explain technical limitations.
- Professional working English.
