About the role

We’re looking for a CEM Scheduling and PMO Analyst to join Verisk Specialty Business Solutions and play an important role in how our Client Environment Management, or CEM, team plans, prioritizes, and delivers its work.

This is more than an administrative PMO position. You’ll be the coordination point between the CEM engineering team, Project Management Office, and wider SBS Operations team, helping ensure engineering capacity is used effectively and that projects and operational priorities stay visible and on track.

You’ll take ownership of resource scheduling for the CEM engineers, support reporting and governance, coordinate Operations meetings, and help teams turn decisions into actions. You’ll also have the opportunity to independently manage smaller internal change initiatives while developing your project management experience alongside more senior project managers.

For someone who enjoys bringing structure to a busy technical environment, working with different stakeholders, and seeing how their organization directly contributes to successful software delivery, this role offers meaningful exposure and room to grow.

CEM Scheduling & Operations

•   Own and maintain resource scheduling and bookings for the CEM engineering team through the SBS Operations Portal.

•   Act as a key coordination point for CEM communications, priorities, and escalations.

•   Produce regular and ad hoc reporting on team capacity, utilization, overtime, and other operational measures.

•   Run weekly Operations meetings, capturing clear decisions, actions, owners, and deadlines, and following up to maintain momentum.

•   Coordinate monthly Operations reporting and consolidate key performance indicators for the team.

•   Build strong working relationships across CEM, Operations, Project Management, and other teams involved in software delivery.

Project & PMO Support

•   Take ownership of smaller internal projects and initiatives, such as knowledge-sharing sessions and process improvements.

•   Support project managers on medium and larger change initiatives, taking responsibility for delegated activities where appropriate.

•   Maintain project plans, RAID logs, milestone records, and other project documentation.

•   Set up timesheet projects and tasks to support accurate project tracking and reporting.

•   Review booked project effort against forecasts and help identify deviations or areas requiring attention.

•   Support stage-gate governance and maintain project documentation in line with SBS delivery processes.

•   Track project actions, owners, and target dates to help teams maintain progress.

•   Support project managers in monitoring and managing project risks and issues.

You’ll be comfortable working in an environment where several priorities are moving at the same time. Strong organization and attention to detail are important, but so is the confidence to follow up, ask questions, and keep people aligned.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

•   Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to organizing work.

•   The ability to manage assigned responsibilities independently and follow through on actions.

•   Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Planner, and Outlook.

•   An understanding of project delivery approaches such as Agile or PMP-based methodologies.

•   Clear written and verbal communication skills, particularly when coordinating across different teams.

•   Professional fluency in English, both spoken and written.

•   Confidence working with schedules, reports, actions, project documentation, and multiple priorities.

Previous experience in a software development or technology environment would be valuable, but it isn’t essential. Knowledge of the insurance industry is also an advantage rather than a requirement.
