Role Overview

As a Coord-Sterile Processing, you¿ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the sterile processing department. You¿ll coordinate shift activities, manage resources, and oversee the quality of work, supporting both technical staff and the broader healthcare team. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patient care.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate shift operations, including scheduling, assigned activities, and resource management.
• Serve as a technical or functional resource for staff and perform similar duties as needed.
• Assign, monitor, and review the quality and progress of work, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Oversee the maintenance of supplies and evaluate the orientation and training of assigned associates.
• Conduct regular audits to contribute to the quality assurance of the work product.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Experience in sterile processing or a related field.
• Ability to coordinate and manage shift operations effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Certification in sterile processing or a related area.
