Job Summary

Provide support for District operations on an As-Needed basis. Duties are dependent upon job.

Positions available for substitute work are:
1. Campus Aide* 2. Cafeteria Worker/Cashier^
3. Delivery Driver 4. Clerk Typist`
5. Custodian*^ 6. Groundskeeper^
7. Library Assistant` 8. Student/Special Needs Van Driver
9. Instructional Aide*` 10. Maintenance Worker^
11. Computer Tech. 12. Mechanic
13. Secretary` 14. Bus Driver*^`

*-In demand
^-Pre-employment physical required
`-Test required and/or special certification required

Requirements / Qualifications

Variable depending on position.

A Pre-Employment Physical is required for the following positions:
1. Cafeteria Worker/Cashier 2. Custodian
3. Groundskeeper 4. Maintenance Worker
5. Bus Driver
Please Note: For Bus Driving Substitutes, Muroc Joint Unified provides the training and licensure necessary for the position.

Tests are required for the following positions, unless otherwise noted:
1. Clerk Typist (Typing test, 45+ WPM adjusted) 2. Library Assistant (Library Assistant test & Typing test, 45+ WPM adjusted)
3. Instructional Aide (Instructional Aide test OR 48+ credits from an accredited institution of higher learning - Transcript or Diploma req'd)
4. Secretary (Secretary Test, MS Office Practical, Typing test, 55+ WPM adjusted)
