Substitute Teacher (2026-27 SY)

Requirements / Qualifications

We accept the following Permits/Credentials

• Credential Copy
• Letter of Introduction
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two recent letters required, no more than one year old.)
• Resume
• TB Screening Result (TB results must be dated within the last 60 days of submitting application.)

• 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit (Turlock Unified does not accept the 90 day prospective teaching permit)
OR Child Development Permit - Associate Teacher
OR Child Development Permit - Master Teacher
OR Child Development Permit - Program Director
OR Child Development Permit - Teacher
OR Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Mild/Moderate (or any disability authorizations)
OR Multiple Subject Teaching Credential - General Subjects
OR Single Subject Teaching Credential - Other (Any California Credential authorizing teaching any Subject is acceptable)

Comments and Other Information

Email addresses must be included in addition to phone number of references listed on the application. There MUST be at least ONE supervisor listed as a reference. If there is missing information or attachments, then application will NOT be processed.
