About The Role:

Sunbit is seeking a Director, Finance Applications to own the systems that run the finance organization as the company scales and prepares to become a public

company. You are a finance professional first, who knows how to implement systems and automate processes, and you will set the architecture, the roadmap and the control environment for ERP, procurement, T&E and the automation layer around them. This leadership role will partner closely with Accounting, FP&A, IT, Security, Data and others.

What You’ll Own:

• Own the finance systems roadmap and architecture: ERP, procurement, T&E, and the integrations and data flows between them.
• Lead the NetSuite implementation for the Israeli subsidiary, including subsidiary setup, intercompany, multi-currency and local statutory requirements, working with an implementation partner.
• Select and implement a procurement platform and a T&E and spend solution, deciding build versus buy for each.
• Replace Excel-based processes (reconciliations, allocations, close checklists, reporting packs) with governed, auditable automation.
• Partner with or hire an AI Specialist, Finance to identify where agents and automation fit, and set the guardrails: human approval points, audit trail and access.
• Design and maintain system-level controls with SOX readiness in mind: segregation of duties, access reviews, change management, and documentation for internal and external auditors.
• Manage vendors and implementation partners, budgets and timelines.

Requirements

Requirements:

• 10+ years in finance, accounting or finance systems, with at least 5 years leading ERP and finance system implementations.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience, including a multi-subsidiary or multi-currency rollout. Experience with Zip, Coupa, Ramp, Brex or similar preferred.
• Strong accounting foundation. CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with SOX or IPO readiness, or working with external auditors on ITGC and application controls.
• Experience automating finance workflows (scripting, low-code, integration platforms, or AI tools) and the judgment to know when not to.
• Comfortable working across US and Israel time zones.
• Fintech or consumer lending background, and experience building a finance systems team from scratch, preferred.
