Wood Thailand is seeking Expressions of Interest for an experienced Construction Quality Inspector (ELV) to contribute to successful delivery of a major data centre project, as part of Thailand’s critical digital infrastructure for a key global client partner. This role will be based onsite in Nong Yai, Chonburi, Thailand and is anticipated to be a 2-year fixed-term contract, with positions available for commencement in mid-January 2027 and mid-April 2027.

Reporting to the Construction Quality Lead, you will consistently display and enforce Wood values and behaviours, and commitment to the highest standards of safe and ethical behaviour, to ensure safe, reliable operations and client satisfaction. In addition, you will:

• Validate inspection requirements and carry out ELV inspection and quality surveillance activities across construction worksites, warehouses, fabrication facilities and supplier locations as required
• Witness and verify testing, installation verification, integrated systems testing and commissioning activities in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), project specifications and quality requirements
• Inspect ELV systems including structured cabling, fibre optic networks, security systems, access control, CCTV, telecommunications, BMS interfaces and associated critical communications infrastructure for compliance with project requirements
• Review and endorse quality records generated during installation, testing, commissioning and system integration activities
• Generate inspection reports, quality surveillance reports and progress updates as required
• Identify, document and escalate non-conformances, deficiencies and quality concerns to the project quality team
• Support system turnover, completions, as-built documentation and handover activities

Ideally you will have:

• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety and environmental excellence, with the ability to promote safe work practices, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and contribute to a strong safety culture, with safety at the heart of everything we do
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' experience in ELV inspection, construction QA/QC or quality assurance roles on major industrial, infrastructure, mission-critical or data centre projects
• Relevant inspection, testing or quality certification in an electrical, telecommunications or low-voltage discipline from a recognised industry or national body (essential).
• Sound knowledge of ELV installation standards, structured cabling systems, fibre optic infrastructure, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation requirements
• Familiarity with inspection software, digital quality management systems and mobile inspection applications
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving capability and communication skills
• Experience reviewing quality documentation including inspection records, test reports, cable testing results, commissioning documentation and handover packages

Desirable

What will set you apart will be your previous experience supporting the delivery of data centres, mission-critical facilities, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing or high-tech infrastructure projects.

Experience within an owner's representative, client-side, programme management consultancy (PMC) or EPCM environment will also be highly regarded.
