Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain application components using the approved technology stack.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into maintainable code, APIs, interfaces, or user-facing features.
- Integrate applications with databases, external services, and enterprise systems using appropriate standards.
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and performance improvement.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, and operations teams through release and production support.
- Experience Required: typically 6+ years in a related professional role; exact threshold must match the approved requisition.
- Practical experience with the role-specific technology stack: Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA/Hibernate, REST APIs, SQL, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, and Git.
- Professional experience building or supporting production software using the core technologies relevant to this role.
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, software design, data structures, and maintainable code.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, data stores, and appropriate testing practices.
- Working knowledge of Git or another source-control system and structured development workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot defects and communicate technical findings clearly.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile or iterative delivery environment.
- Additional hands-on depth in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA/Hibernate, REST APIs, SQL, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, and Git.
- Experience mentoring peers, reviewing technical work, and guiding delivery decisions.
- Familiarity with secure development, accessibility, governance, or regulatory requirements where applicable.
- Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in the role’s technology area.
