What You’ll Do:

  • Own the end-to-end Regulatory Reporting process, from identification and escalation through committee assessment, submission to relevant authorities and closure of follow-up requests.
  • Lead the identification of in-scope matters across all sub-compliance teams, ensuring anything relevant is escalated and presented to the relevant working group and leadership committee
  • Lead, present at and minute working group meetings and formal committees and track and follow up on all actions to completion.
  • Prepare submissions and materials to regulators and relevant authorities in collaboration with internal counsel and external counsel, and manage regulatory requests and clarifications through to resolution.
  • Maintain a complete, auditable tracker of escalations, decisions, actions and deadlines, and provide regular reporting to Leadership and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with investigators across compliance disciplines to obtain evidence and clarify user status, keeping case records consistent and complete.
  • Continue to build out and enhance the regulatory reporting processes, including procedures, templates, escalation criteria and training, and use AI tools to improve tracking, analysis and reporting.
  • Support the training, certification and attestation requirements, including annual training for all personnel.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years in financial crime compliance and experience in a long term regulatory exam or monitorship management (US experience preferable).
  • Working knowledge of AML/BSA, sanctions and terrorist financing requirements and of the U.S. federal criminal law framework and Global Financial Crime industry guidance.
  • Proven ability to lead committees, present to senior leadership and take detailed, accurate minutes with clear action follow-up.
  • Strong working relationship with legal counsel, and experience in delivering high profile reporting.
