At Rolls-Royce we are proud to be a business that has truly helped to shape the modern world and are committed to always being a force for progress; powering, protecting and connecting people everywhere.

By joining Rolls-Royce, you'll have the opportunity to work on world-class solutions, supported by a culture that believes individuality is our greatest strength, and all perspectives, experiences and backgrounds help us innovate and enable our high-performance culture.

Position Summary:

Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance Limited (“RRPF”) is a global aviation business specialising in aircraft engine leasing and asset management. Working across the aviation ecosystem, we combine deep industry expertise with a growing focus on digital technology and data to improve how aviation assets are managed throughout their lifecycle.

An opportunity has become available for an Aviation Digital Product Lead – Aircraft & Airworthiness to join our team in London.

This role leads the development of digital products that address complex aircraft and engine technical records, continuing airworthiness and airline engineering requirements. It combines deep aviation expertise with product leadership, data and process transformation to ensure TRES and our wider digital capabilities solve real operational challenges for airlines, lessors, MROs, asset managers and OEMs.

What you will be doing:

  • Own the product vision and roadmap while prioritised backlog for TRES capabilities.
  • Work with airline engineering, CAMO, technical-records, maintenance-planning, powerplant and asset-management teams to understand end-to-end processes, system interfaces, operational constraints and edge cases.
  • Translate complex aviation requirements into scalable product capabilities, process maps, data models, user stories and acceptance criteria, avoiding unnecessary customer-specific development.
  • Lead product discovery and validation with customers, subject-matter experts and delivery teams through workshops, demonstrations, proofs of concept and user-acceptance testing.
  • Shape product architecture and integrations with engineering, data and AI teams, including aviation structures, data provenance, validation rules and interfaces with systems such as AMOS and TRAX.
  • Ensure TRES supports continuing airworthiness, aircraft configuration, maintenance programmes, AD/SB compliance, work packs, technical logs and aircraft transition processes, while maintaining traceability, auditability, and appropriate governance.
  • Act as the aviation-domain bridge across customers, product, software engineering, AI/data, commercial teams and senior stakeholders, using market and regulatory insight to guide product direction.

Position Qualifications:

    • Substantial practical experience in airline engineering, CAMO, continuing airworthiness, aircraft technical records, maintenance planning or aircraft asset management.
    • Strong working knowledge of aircraft configuration, maintenance programmes, AD/SB compliance, component and utilisation data, work packs and aircraft delivery, transition or redelivery processes.
    • Practical experience of airline M&E and technical-records systems, with knowledge of AMOS, TRAX or a comparable aviation platform strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrable experience translating complex operational or regulatory requirements into digital products, roadmaps, backlogs and deliverable system capabilities.
    • Ability to communicate effectively across aviation specialists, customers, software teams and senior stakeholders, with strong workshop facilitation and decision-making skills.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Degree, licence or recognised professional qualification in aerospace engineering, aircraft maintenance, aviation, airworthiness or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience within an airline, CAMO, lessor, MRO, OEM or aviation-software business.
  • Knowledge of aviation records and information standards, including ATA specifications, S1000D or iSpec 2200.
  • Experience with data structures, integrations, APIs, document intelligence, AI-enabled records processing or aviation data migration.
  • Experience working with regulators, auditors or technical authorities and in agile product-delivery environments.
  • A clear personal drive to digitise aviation processes and improve how specialists use records, data and systems.

Regional Benefits:

  • Work in a safety-first environment were doing the right thing and keeping it simple are core principles.
  • Join a culture that values making a real difference through your work.
  • Thrive in a role that encourages integrity, accountability, resilience, and curiosity.
  • Collaborate and build relationships in a team-focused environment while also working independently.
  • Take initiative, lead, and make smart decisions with confidence and support.
  • Grow through continuous learning, openness to improvement, and exposure to challenging opportunities.

Our vision is to ensure that the excellence and ingenuity that shaped our history continues into our future. Our multi-year transformation programme aims to turn Rolls-Royce into a high-performing, competitive, resilient, and growing company. Join us, and it can be your future vision too.
