Teacher, Visually Impaired Program (Certificated Position #1694)

Requirements / Qualifications

Internal Applicants:
Although an Edjoin application is the only requirement for internal applicants it is recommended that you include all items to allow all panel members a complete view of your qualifications and background.

External Applicants:
* Must possess an appropriate California teaching credential authorizing specialized services to students with visual impairment.
* Must possess authorization to teach English Language Learners..
* Required level to education in order to obtain the appropriate authorization from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) for the position.

If hired, must provide proof of a valid California Driver's License.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

• Copy of Transcript (Bachelors degree or higher)
• Credential Copy (CA Teaching credential authorizing specialized services to students with visual impairment)
• English Learner Authorization (Authorization to teach English Language Learners)
• Letter of Introduction
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two Letters of Recommendation are required-each letter must be signed)
• Resume
