Director of Finance Operations

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Executive Director of Finance, this role ensures that funds flow into and out of the District in a legal, compliant, and efficient manner. Specifically, this role oversees accurate and timely payroll for all NUSD employees; ensures vendors are paid appropriately; coordinates the annual independent audit and supports compliance with applicable laws and regulations; leads year-end closing and required state and federal reporting; and manages the District’s cash flow. This role also works closely with the Executive Director to develop, monitor, and implement the District’s annual budget, including interim reporting.
