This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

A healthier future. That’s what motivates us to innovate. Continuously promote science and ensure that everyone has access to the health care they need today and for generations to come. Creating a world where we all have more time with the people we love. That’s what makes us Roche.

As the Medical Enabler – Neurosciences for Roche Pharma Chile, you will serve as the scientific authority and cross-functional orchestrator for our Neuroscience therapeutic portfolio. Blending deep clinical rigor with strategic business and ecosystem acumen, you will spend approximately 50% of your time in proactive external field engagement—shaping clinical practice, partnering with Therapeutic Area Experts (TAEs), removing access barriers across the patient journey, and driving evidence generation. Acting as a servant leader (VACC), you will bridge clinical excellence with commercial, market access, and regulatory strategies while upholding uncompromising compliance standards.

About the opportunity:

  • Medical Governance & Strategy: Act as the ultimate decision-maker and owner (content, attendees, and budget) for high-impact non-promotional governance initiatives, including Medical Advisory Boards, Scientific Exchanges, Preceptorships, Local Access Models (LAM), Compassionate Use, and Patient Support Programs (PSP).

  • Strong proactive External Engagement : Build enduring peer-to-peer relationships with TAEs, clinical investigators, and key institutional stakeholders. Lead high-level scientific discussions to challenge current treatment paradigms, shape diagnostic/therapeutic guidelines, and accelerate patient access to innovative therapies.

  • Patient Journey & Access Integration: Connect deep clinical data with local reimbursement dynamics, formulary listings, and health system funding pathways. Collaborate seamlessly with Market Access and commercial partners to articulate clinical value packages and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) arguments.

  • Evidence Generation & Clinical Support: Drive the local Integrated Evidence Plan (IEP), identifying evidence gaps and supporting Real-World Evidence (RWE), Non-Interventional Studies (NIS), and Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) in full compliance with GCP and local regulations.

  • Operational Excellence & License to Operate: Champion medical compliance (GVP/GCC, GxP), managing CRM data hygiene, structured documentation of field insights, medical review of educational grants, and human-in-the-loop oversight for AI-driven clinical information.

  • VACC Leadership & Cross-Functional Synergy: Foster psychological safety, continuous learning, and experimentation across the affiliate’s cross-functional squad (Regulatory, Patient Access, Customer Facing, and Pharmacovigilance) without direct authority, leveraging influence and network thinking.

Qualification:

  • University degree in Health or Life Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biotechnology,). An MD or advanced postgraduate degree (MSc, PhD, or Healthcare Management) is required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in Medical Affairs (Medical Advisor, MSL, Medical Partner), Clinical Research, or clinical customer-facing roles within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.

  • Solid experience in Neurosciences (Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, or related high-complexity neurological diseases); candidates with a proven track record of tangible clinical ecosystem mobilization and therapeutic standard-of-care evolution will be prioritized.

  • Strong systemic understanding of healthcare ecosystems, the patient journey, health economics/HTA, and access pathways in Chile.

  • Hands-on orientation with strict discipline regarding procedural compliance, CRM insight tracking, SOPs, and budget/documentation governance.

  • Advanced fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish (mandatory for international congresses, regional squad interfaces, and global clinical networks).

  • Entrepreneurial, agile mindset with strong influence skills, high emotional intelligence, and authentic alignment with Roche’s leadership commitments and core values: Integrity, Courage, and Passion.

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.
