Job Summary

Athletic Coaches are responsible for leading and supervising a high school athletic team, including organizing practices, coordinating competitions, and promoting student participation and sportsmanship. This position works closely with school administration to ensure compliance with district policies, safety requirements, and athletic guidelines. Athletic Coaches provide leadership, instruction, and support to student-athletes while maintaining equipment, transportation coordination, and program integrity.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Certification (Certificates through NFHSlearn.com | Fundamentals of Coaching | Sudden Cardiac Arrest | Concussions in Sports | Heat Illness Prevention)
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Resume

The Anderson Union High School District is accepting applications for the Anderson Union High School Baseball Coaching Candidate Pool for the 26/27 Spring athletic season.

This posting is intended to fill coaching vacancies at various levels, including assistant coaching positions, various grade level coaching positions, and unpaid volunteer coaching opportunities. Varsity Head Coach positions are posted separately.

The following coaching positions may be available:

Varsity Assistant Baseball Coach | $2,982 on staff/ $2,879 walk on stipend
JV Baseball Coach | $4,639 on staff/ $4,479 walk on stipend
Volunteer Baseball Coach | does not qualify for stipend

Applicants will have the opportunity to indicate their preferred coaching position and whether they are willing to be considered for other coaching levels.

Please note: Some positions may be unpaid volunteer opportunities. Paid coaching positions and stipends are subject to the applicable bargaining agreement and position requirements.
