Your Impact
As Solution Lead - Workforce Enablement, based in Revantage’s Bangalore office, you will report to the Practice Lead - Data Centre Applications and partner closely with Data Centre Operations, Technology, Engineering, Security, vendors and managed services teams. You will be the technical lead for the systems, devices and digital tools that enable AirTrunk's operational workforce and contractors, making your mark in a number of ways:
Shape a secure and scalable workforce technology ecosystem that helps site teams and contractors complete operational work safely, efficiently and consistently.
Improve the field-worker experience across wearable devices, tablets, mobile asset-management tools, collaboration services and the platforms that support them.
Lead the technical quality of workforce enablement change from discovery through implementation, adoption and ongoing support across AirTrunk's growing data centre portfolio.
What you'll do
Strategy and roadmap: Own and maintain the workforce enablement solution roadmap with the Practice Lead and operational stakeholders, aligning investment, lifecycle plans and delivery priorities to workforce needs and enterprise technology strategy.
Solution design and architecture: Lead end-to-end design of secure, resilient and supportable workforce solutions spanning applications, mobile services, devices, identity, connectivity, integrations, data and supporting cloud or infrastructure components.
Field-worker experience: Work directly with data centre teams and contractors to understand field activities, constraints and safety requirements, and translate them into simple digital journeys that work in operational environments.
Devices and mobility: Define solutions for RealWear and other wearable devices, rugged tablets, mobile phones, peripherals and shared devices, including enrolment, configuration, application deployment, support and replacement.
Operational applications: Lead the design and evolution of mobile asset-management, work-management, inspection, permit, collaboration, knowledge and workforce applications used by employees and contractors.
Identity and access: Support the Design of fit-for-purpose access for employees, contractors and shared-device scenarios, including authentication, role-based access, joiner-mover-leaver controls, privileged access and periodic review.
Connectivity and offline operation: Define application and device behaviour for plant rooms, remote areas and other constrained environments, including wireless coverage dependencies, offline working, synchronisation, data recovery and graceful degradation.
Security and device management: Partner with Information Security and infrastructure teams to establish mobile application management, unified endpoint management, compliance, patching, encryption, remote support, logging and data-loss controls.
Integration and data: Define and assure integrations with EAM, identity, collaboration, document management, service management, learning, data and analytics, and operational systems such as DCIM, BMS and EPMS.
Technical leadership: Direct delivery partners, software suppliers, integrators and managed service providers across application, device, identity, connectivity and security components; act as the primary technical point of contact for workforce enablement.
Governance and assurance: Own technical assurance across design, build, test and deployment, ensuring compliance with AirTrunk architecture, cybersecurity, privacy, data governance, operational resilience and change-management standards.
Delivery and adoption: Support planning, prototyping, configuration, testing, rollout and transition to support. Partner with operations on pilots, training, communications and feedback so tools are adopted and effective in real working conditions.
Service and lifecycle management: Oversee solution health, availability, performance and supportability. Guide environments, licences, configuration, upgrades, releases, device refresh, documentation, support models and continuity arrangements.
Performance and improvement: Establish measures for adoption, task completion, user effort, device and application reliability, support demand and safety or productivity outcomes; use evidence and user feedback to improve the capability.
Vendor and stakeholder leadership: Build trusted relationships across Data Centre Operations and Technology, and hold vendors and service partners accountable for SLAs, KPIs, quality, knowledge transfer and delivery outcomes.
