Physical Education Para Educator (Female) (6 Hours)

Requirements / Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent AND:

*Six months experience working with children in a structured environment or college level classes in child behavior, child growth and development, education or child psychology is required. If you are applying for this position based on the six college units in the above areas, you must attach your transcripts with your application or letter of intent.

*Transcripts, Current CPR and First Aide certification (COPY OF CERTIFICATION MUST BE ATTACHED TO APPLICATION). NO ONLINE CPR AND FIRST AID CLASSES ACCEPTED.

Applicants must successfully complete each part of the examination process in order to be considered further.

Written Test: Tuesday, February 12, 2019 10:30 A.M.
Location: Lancaster School District's Board Room
(Late arrivals are not allowed entry.)

SCORING: *Open Examination – the written examination will carry a weight of 100%. An eligibility list will be in effect for 6 months or until fewer than 3 applicants remain on the list.

*If five (5) qualified applicants from the Lancaster School District demonstrate the ability to meet the job qualifications, the position will be filled on a promotional basis. If less than five (5) District applicants demonstrate the ability to meet the qualifications, the position will be filled through open examination.
