What You’ll Do

As a Foreman, you will step away from purely assisting and take complete command of site safety, project timelines, and crew coordination. Your core responsibilities include:

📋 Project Command & Fluid Logistics

• Oversee total job execution, directing the end-to-end mobilization, layout, setup, and teardown of complex industrial pumping and bypass systems.
• Manage critical fluid-handling infrastructure, including high-volume diesel and electric pumps, filtration systems, containment setups, and temporary power distribution.
• Direct emergency response deployments, orchestrating resources, equipment, and logistics during time-critical bypass operations and large-scale water restoration efforts.
• Maximize project profitability by ensuring peak mechanical efficiency of the fleet, tracking resource allocation, and maintaining on-time delivery.

🛡️ Crew Leadership & Safety Accountability

• Enforce a zero-harm workplace culture, taking ultimate accountability for crew adherence to all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and job-site best practices.
• Lead daily tailgate safety meetings, conduct comprehensive hazard assessments, and execute immediate containment or pressure-control interventions to eliminate risk.
• Mentor and develop field staff, including Assistant Foremen and technicians, through hands-on technical training and daily performance feedback.
• Interface directly with clients and Project Leads to handle scope changes, troubleshoot field issues, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven Leadership: 3+ years of experience leading field crews in a mechanical, utility, water restoration, or heavy civil construction environment.
• Pump Mastery: Extensive hands-on experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting high-volume bypass pumping configurations and industrial hydraulic systems.
• Advanced Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of fluid dynamics, flow calculations, pump curves, and electrical/electronic pump controls.
• Blueprint & Diagnostic Literacy: Expert capability in reading blueprints, fluid system schematics, engineering layouts, and technical manuals.
• Decisive Problem-Solving: Ability to evaluate critical failures under pressure and implement rapid, safe mechanical or operational solutions.
• Elite Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to manage crew dynamics, draft daily logs, and act as the primary field contact for clients and management.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced trade school, technical certifications, or degrees in mechanics, hydraulics, or engineering are heavily preferred.

Base Pay Range: $21.38 - 29.39
