As a Medical Escort Doctor, you'll provide essential medical care and support to individuals during domestic and international transfers, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and dignity throughout the journey.

This is a unique opportunity for experienced General Practitioners who enjoy variety, are confident making independent clinical decisions and are flexible to travel at short notice.

How You'll Make an Impact!

• Providing safe, high-quality medical care during domestic and international transfers.
• Assessing and monitoring patients' health throughout their journey.
• Managing acute medical conditions, administering or prescribing medications as required and responding to medical emergencies.
• Identifying and managing clinical risks to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.
• Working collaboratively with nursing staff, multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

Let's Talk About You!

We're looking for experienced and adaptable General Practitioners with:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
• A minimum of 5 years' post-registration medical experience.
• Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Department (ED) settings is highly regarded.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and emergency management skills.

You'll need to be an Australian citizen with a valid Australian passport (minimum 6 months' validity) and be flexible to travel domestically and internationally at short notice, with availability to undertake ideally one medical escort assignment per month, typically lasting 1–4 days.
