We're seeking an experienced Trades Manager to lead one of our residential service departments, whether that's Heating & Cooling, Plumbing, or Electrical. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for developing technicians, driving operational excellence, ensuring outstanding customer experiences, and achieving departmental performance goals.

What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of residential service technicians.
- Drive a culture centered around safety, professionalism, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and improve departmental KPIs including revenue performance, conversion rates, membership growth, efficiency, callback reduction, and customer experience metrics.
- Conduct ride-alongs, coaching sessions, and performance reviews to help team members succeed.
- Hold technicians accountable to company standards, processes, and customer service expectations.
- Collaborate with dispatch, customer service, warehouse, and leadership teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and career development initiatives.
- Ensure technicians are effectively identifying customer needs and presenting appropriate solutions that enhance comfort, safety, and reliability.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Maintain profitability while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
What We're Looking For
- Leadership experience within HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or a related residential service industry.
- Proven ability to coach and develop field technicians.
- Strong understanding of residential service operations and performance metrics.
- Experience managing departmental goals, budgets, and team accountability.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to motivate teams while fostering a positive and supportive culture.
- Proficiency with service management software, reporting tools, and KPI tracking.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
