Groundskeeper Lead-Full Time (Caesars Atlantic City)

Schedules, assigns and participates in all duties of the Grounds Shop. Responsible for the general cleaning and maintenance, removal of debris from the external grounds area of property to include, but not limited to docks, garages, walks, rooftops, parking lots etc.  Operates necessary tools and equipment (including heavy sit-on equipment such as street sweepers) to accomplish same.   Performs casual labor or emergency functions at employer’s discretion.  Delivers supplies and materials as requested.  Ensures equipment needed to perform job duties are in good, functional, safe condition.  Maintains all required records specified by management.  Drives company vehicles and participates in the removal of snow on the property.  Ensures material inventory levels are maintained and orders supplies as necessary.  Monitors performance and installation of outside landscaping contractors working in areas of responsibility. Monitors application of all pesticides to conform with all regulatory requirements. 

High school diploma or equivalency certificate.  Knowledge of general plant care, watering, trimming, planting, pruning, pesticides, lawn care, chemicals and fertilizers.  Knowledge of use and care of all garden and exterior cleaning equipment such as mowers, edgers, vacuums, riding street cleaner, four-wheel drive pick-up with plow.  Must have a valid New Jersey Driver's License.  Requires a safe driving record having less than 6 points on an individual's driving record. Some knowledge of interior plants and their care.  NJ CER LICENSE REQUIRED
