About the role

Job Summary

Under direction, performs skilled mechanical maintenance of the white fleet, passenger vehicles, trucks and other district motorized equipment; performs general servicing activities.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education and Training Required:

    High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year experience in the repair and maintenance of automotive and heavy power-driven equipment.

Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required:

  • Environmental Protection agency, EPA, Section 609 Certification.
  • Valid California driver’s license. (Upon Hire)
  • Drug Testing Clearance. (Upon Hire)
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Commercial Drivers license within thirty (30) days after initiation of employment.
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a California School Bus Drivers Certificate within thirty (30) days after initiation of employment
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Forklift Certification within thirty (30) days after initiation of employment.
    • Certificate Copy (Environmental Protection agency, EPA, Section 609 Certification)
