Transportation Specialist (Open & Promotional) (To Establish A List)

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Manager of Transportation: assists in the operation, planning, coordination, development, and implementation of Transportation Services that are the responsibility of the Transportation Department and provides guidance and assistance to department personnel and to do other related work as may be required.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education and Training Required:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and possession of the knowledge and abilities listed above. Three (3) years of responsible office level experience, including public contact, preferably including some experience in a transportation department setting, and including experience in operating complex software applications, complex problem solving and data analysis.
