Shop Manager

We're looking for a hands-on Shop Manager to lead our maintenance team and help keep vehicles safe, reliable, and ready for service. If you're an experienced mechanic, lead technician, maintenance supervisor, fleet lead, or someone who enjoys leading a team while solving mechanical challenges, we'd love to hear from you.

Lead the Shop. Keep the Fleet Moving.

Location: Pekin, IL

Pay: $30 - $40/hr (based upon experience)

What You'll Do

• Lead and support a team of technicians and mechanics
• Assign and prioritize daily repair and maintenance work
• Troubleshoot and assist with complex vehicle repairs
• Ensure preventative maintenance is completed on schedule
• Promote a strong culture of safety and accountability
• Monitor shop productivity, parts inventory, and equipment uptime
• Participate in team meetings and training
• Help maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of mechanical, fleet, diesel, automotive, heavy equipment, or transportation maintenance experience
• Previous leadership, lead technician, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Comfortable using computers and maintenance software
• IDOT Knowledge
