Our EMEA Electrical Services organization, operating across 25 countries with more than 500 employees, delivers lifecycle services across Eaton's electrical products, systems, and software portfolio. We support customers in Data Centers, Utilities & Energy, Industry, Buildings, and Healthcare, helping them maximize reliability, safety, and performance.
 
Our teams work on some of the most critical infrastructure projects in the world, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Electrician to join our team in Gävle.

What you’ll do:

Our Gävle team supports commissioning and service activities for large-scale data centre projects, delivering Eaton’s Power Distribution and Power Quality solutions across LV, MV and HV systems.

As a Senior Electrician, you’ll work hands-on with electrical installations while also taking a leading role on site.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading electrical installation, maintenance, commissioning, testing and fault-finding activities.
  • Working with MV and HV power distribution equipment, including switchgear and associated systems.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for customers during project execution.
  • Supporting and mentoring other engineers and electricians on site.
  • Working closely with project management to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
  • Maintaining Eaton’s high standards for safety, quality and customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical education or a qualified electrician/installer background.
  • Solid professional experience working as an electrician.
  • Experience with power distribution, switchgear, electrical installations, testing or commissioning.
  • Experience with MV/HV equipment would be highly valuable.
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as Megger, Fluke or Omicron is an advantage.
  • Protection relay testing or programming experience is beneficial, but not essential.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • A valid driving licence and flexibility to travel when required.
  • A proactive, safety-focused and customer-oriented approach.
  • The ability to work effectively within an international and multicultural team.
