đ± Your Next Steps
Our Social Impact Week is about helping you build confidence, gain experience and develop skills that you can take with you into whatever comes next.
That next step might be a job, further training or another career opportunity. There may also be the opportunity for eligible participants to progress to the assessment stage for our London Technology Degree Apprenticeship.
Securing a place on our apprenticeship would give you the opportunity to work towards a BSc in Digital and Technology Solutions over three years at the University of East London while gaining hands-on experience, developing your skills and building your career in technology.
Whatever your next step, youâll leave Social Impact Week with new skills, experience and connections to help you move forward.
To bring this to life, meet some of our former Social Impact Week participants who went on to join Accenture on our London Technology Apprenticeship: Â
- Adam first joined Accenture through the Movement to Work Social Impact programme in 2016, an experience that helped him recognise his potential and opened the door to a career he had not previously imagined. He went on to build his career within Ecosystem Resale Enablement, supporting complex, multi-country opportunities and working closely with sales, finance, legal, vendors and client teams. Adam has since moved into a role focused on social mobility, where he is helping other young people gain the confidence, skills and opportunities needed to begin their own careers. Reflecting on his journey, Adam says: âSocial Impact Week gave me an opportunity at a point when I needed someone to see my potential. It introduced me to a working environment and a career path that I had never imagined for myself. Now, being able to create that same opportunity for other young people feels like bringing the journey full circle.â
- Sapphire completed Social Impact Week in January 2025 and joined the apprenticeship in September 2025. She is currently working as an Infrastructure Modernisation Discovery Analyst for a financial institution, where she works closely with clients to understand their technology needs and helps coordinate projects to improve and modernise their IT systems. She also helps ensure clients have a secure and accessible digital environment. Sapphire reflects: "Social Impact Week opened my eyes to what working with Accenture could look like. I valued the team bonding and professional guidance given by all of the employees; the environment was one I knew I could thrive in. It was a truly valuable experience that confirmed my decision to choose Accenture!
- Radwan joined the programme in February 2024 and is now in his final year of the apprenticeship. He currently works with a leading telecoms client as part of the Sales team, supporting pipeline management, opportunity governance, reporting and process improvement. The role has given him experience working with different teams and stakeholders across the account, while developing a broader understanding of how sales, delivery and consulting come together. Radwan states: âSocial Impact Week was my first real introduction to Accenture, and at the time I had no idea how many different opportunities existed within the business. Since joining the apprenticeship, Iâve had the chance to experience very different areas, from cybersecurity to now working within a client sales team. That variety has helped me understand my strengths, what I enjoy and where I want to take my career. My biggest advice would be to stay open-minded and take opportunities when they come, because you might find yourself enjoying something you never originally considered.
