Medical Receptionist

Join our friendly and supportive team in Geraldton as a Medical Receptionist. This full-time position offers shifts from Monday to Friday between 7.45am-5.00pm, in addition to a 9-day fortnight with one rostered day off. A part-time role may also be considered for the right candidate. 

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing an important role in creating a positive and professional patient experience. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures. 

• Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally. 

• Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans. 

• Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation and DVA.

• Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers. 

What we’re looking for: 

✅ Previous experience in the medical industry would be highly advantageous.  

✅ Clear verbal and written communication skills. 

✅ Experience with interventional bookings and procedures. 

✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

✅ Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow. 

✅ Relevant reception experience. 

✅ Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
