  • Ensure security static data and verified event details are accurately reflected across core processing platforms and downstream systems.

Control Tower & Exception Management

  • Oversee investigation and resolution of STP failures, reconciliation breaks, transmission issues and other processing exceptions.
  • Coordinate timely issue resolution with custodians, market agents, Technology and internal operations teams.
  • Review operational metrics, exception trends and management reports to identify risks and areas requiring intervention.

Risk, Control & Governance

  • Own the day-to-day control framework for the function, including clear maker-checker responsibilities, escalation protocols, evidence retention and audit readiness.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for short-fused events, critical discrepancies, missed notifications and material operational issues.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and remediation for incidents, control gaps and recurring exceptions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable operational risk, regulatory and internal governance requirements.
  • Support Business Continuity Planning exercises and ensure appropriate backup and operational resilience arrangements are maintained.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, coach and develop the team, providing work allocation, technical guidance, quality oversight and timely feedback.
  • Build cross-functional capability across Watchlist, Scrubbing and Control Tower activities through structured training and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with Operations teams, custodians, Technology and other stakeholders to resolve issues and support consistent Corporate Actions practices.
  • Provide clear and timely updates to management on significant events, risks, exceptions and remediation progress.

Transformation & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive process standardisation, automation and control enhancements across the Corporate Actions announcement lifecycle.
  • Lead or support system enhancements, and implementation of future Watchlist, Golden Copy and Control Tower capabilities.
  • Use operational data and exception trends to identify improvement opportunities and strengthen service quality, efficiency and risk management.
  • Maintain procedures, controls and training materials to support the evolving CA CoE operating model.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline with 5 to 8 years of relevant operations experience within Corporate Actions or Custody Operations.
