About the role
About the Role
Build the edge-to-cloud infrastructure that connects, manages, updates, and monitors deployed robot fleets. You will work across on-device software, cloud systems, and fleet observability, partnering with robotics, autonomy, hardware, deployment, and web product teams to enable reliable capabilities powered by real-time robot data.
What You'll Do
Develop and maintain production-grade C++ and Go software running on robotic platforms.
Build on-device systems for robotics software integration, local data buffering, and edge communications.
Design and operate secure, low-latency data pipelines between robot fleets, cloud infrastructure, and web platforms.
Build OTA update mechanisms for safe, reliable deployment of software to robots in the field.
Develop telemetry, logging, alerting, monitoring, and fleet dashboard tools across device and cloud systems.
Improve reliability, performance, resource usage, resilience, and uptime under real-world deployment conditions.
Collaborate across hardware and software teams to support fleet-scale features and infrastructure.
What We're Looking For
3 to 10 years of experience in robotics or IoT infrastructure engineering, including embedded or edge-device work and cloud systems.
Production-grade C++ and Go skills, with experience building systems from the ground up.
Experience building edge-to-cloud pipelines for robot or IoT fleets and deploying OTA update systems.
Experience with fleet telemetry, monitoring, alerting, and dashboards.
Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS or GCP, Terraform, and Docker.
Familiarity with networking protocols such as MQTT, gRPC, or WebSockets.
Ability to lead cross-functional projects and work effectively in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field is a plus.
