As a Senior Software Engineer Backend, you will architect and develop high-performance services that drive our core products, ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability across all environments. Leveraging your deep expertise in Java and Spring frameworks, you will design robust APIs, integrate with micro‑service ecosystems, and optimize data pipelines for throughput and low latency. You will collaborate closely with product teams, DevOps, and quality assurance to deliver code that meets stringent performance and security standards. Your role will also involve mentoring junior engineers, championing best practices, and driving continuous improvement in our engineering culture. In this capacity, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical roadmap, selecting the right tools, and ensuring that our backend infrastructure aligns with business objectives and industry best practices.

Requirements

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.

• Implement RESTful APIs and ensure they adhere to contractual and security requirements.

• Optimize database interactions, caching strategies, and message broker usage for performance.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes clusters.

• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote test‑driven development.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents with root‑cause analysis.

• Collaborate with frontend and data teams to define integration points and data contracts.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose tooling or architectural improvements.

• Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with Java and Spring frameworks.

• Strong understanding of micro‑service architecture, REST, and event‑driven design.

• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment strategies.

• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts.

• Solid knowledge of relational and non‑relational database technologies and schema design.

• Experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and incident response in production.

• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a pragmatic approach to complex technical challenges.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.

• Passion for clean, maintainable code and a commitment to best engineering practices.

• Exposure to Agile methodologies and a track record of delivering high‑quality software on time.
