Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.
The Cocktail Server is responsible for providing exceptional beverage and food service to guests in a lounge, nightclub, or bar environment. Responsibilities include taking and accurately entering guest orders, delivering beverages and food, making product recommendations, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Additional duties include supporting special events, maintaining clean and properly stocked service stations, clearing used glassware, monitoring guest consumption, and promptly reporting visibly intoxicated guests to leadership.
The ideal candidate has experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or nightclub environment; possesses knowledge of beverages and mixology; and demonstrates strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares and/or serves beverages following standard practices and recipes
- Maintains cleanliness and safety of work and guest areas
- Maintains par levels of operating supplies and equipment, replenishing as needed in accordance with procedures
- Monitors guest consumption of alcohol, intervening as needed according to established practices
- Operates the POS system in accordance with established procedures
- Coordinates beverage service to maintain an efficient service flow

QUALIFICATION REQUIRMENTS
- Must be 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to maintain HCA identified responsible alcohol service certification
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations, including calculating discounts, interest, and commissions and apply to practical situations
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 30 lbs
