About the role

Overview

WHO are we looking for?

CAPTRUST is seeking a motivated and experienced Product Manager to set direction for the implementation, adoption, and expansion of AI-enabled solutions that support our advisors and the teams that serve our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of taking AI capabilities from concept to production and turning them into adopted, measurable improvements in how people work.

This role is focused on AI implementation at the product level. It owns the vision, roadmap, and delivery of AI solutions that support productivity and client experience across the firm, including our AI-enabled meeting assistant and employee-facing AI assistant capabilities, and will expand to related tools and integrations as the ecosystem evolves. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Director of AI Enablement, who sets firm-wide AI strategy, governance, and enablement, and partner with other Product Managers to shape solutions, align roadmaps, and integrate AI capabilities into their products. This role is responsible for ensuring the AI products we deliver create value for our advisors, clients, and the teams that serve them. This role presents an opportunity to shape how AI is applied across CAPTRUST.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision, priorities, and roadmap for advisor AI implementations, aligning leadership on direction and investment decisions
  • Collaborate with the Director of AI Enablement on firm-wide AI governance, data classification, and responsible-use standards
  • Partner with other Product Managers to integrate AI capabilities into their products, aligning on shared priorities, roadmap dependencies, and the data each solution depends on
  • Engage directly with advisors, business leaders, and Compliance to translate advisor workflows into practical AI use cases with clear requirements, success criteria, and guardrails
  • Partner with Information Security, IT, and data teams to protect CAPTRUST and client data using security and privacy best practices, and to ensure solutions are grounded in reliable, well-integrated data
  • Evaluate and recommend AI vendors, platforms, and build-versus-buy options, manage vendor relationships, and stay current on vendor roadmaps and the broader agentic AI ecosystem
  • Plan and coordinate releases, including pilots, phased rollouts, and continuous improvements, and define how AI output quality is evaluated and monitored in production
  • Drive and measure advisor adoption in partnership with AI Enablement, training, and business leaders, using usage trends and advisor feedback to remove barriers and improve business outcomes

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, information systems, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in product management or AI implementation roles with ownership of product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of AI-enabled solutions in a business setting
  • Minimum 7-12 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years focused on implementing AI-enabled solutions

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Track record of moving AI solutions from pilot into adopted production use across distributed user groups, with measurable business outcomes
  • Strong understanding of generative and agentic AI capabilities, limitations, and integration patterns, including retrieval and grounding, output evaluation, and human-in-the-loop design
  • Experience in wealth management, financial services, or a related regulated, advisor-facing business, including an understanding of AI governance, data privacy, and compliance considerations
  • Experience managing multiple AI solutions at once, including external vendors and capabilities that depend on other product teams' platforms, data, and roadmaps
  • Strong requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and scope negotiation skills, with a data-driven approach to prioritization and familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain AI capabilities in plain language to advisors, business leaders, and technical teams
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform, or wealth technology platforms
