About the role
About the Role
Join a small, fast-moving team developing real-time electronic control systems for hypersonic flight vehicles. You will own flight-critical hardware from initial design through validation and integration.
What You'll Do
Design control electronics boards, including motor controllers, actuator drivers, and feedback and control loops.
Own hardware end to end, from PCB design and bring-up through debugging, integration, validation, and production.
Develop systems using microcontrollers, microprocessors, and mixed-signal circuits for real-time processing and control.
Collaborate with guidance, navigation and control, avionics, and flight software teams to integrate systems.
Define requirements and make technical decisions across the hardware lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
Three to 15 years of experience designing control or power electronics hardware, including motor drivers or actuator controllers.
A BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Hands-on experience designing, bringing up, and debugging control or power electronics PCB assemblies, including analog or mixed-signal circuits.
PCB design experience, including schematic capture and layout; Altium is preferred.
Familiarity with embedded hardware such as ARM microcontrollers and CAN, and tools or technologies such as SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, DDR, FPGA, and embedded C.
Experience in a fast-paced hardware environment and with flight hardware or other high-reliability systems in aerospace, defense, or automotive.
U.S. citizenship and eligibility for security clearance are required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $150,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
