Baseband SoC Expert

We are currently looking for a Baseband System on Chip system architect to define the next generation SoC compute architecture.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for next-generation wireless baseband SoC architecture design, meeting baseband compute requirements from AI and new 6G services.

You will define, design, evaluate and integrate cutting-edge IP to ensure a truly leading baseband compute system.

You will work alongside algorithm geniuses, hardware specialists, and software experts. Maintain high-frequency resonance with the core team in Shanghai and tackle the most critical wireless technology challenges together with this team.

Qualifications and experience

The role is focused on joint software and hardware system architecture design for large-scale parallel computing. To be successful in this role the candidate should have more than 10 years experience from industry or academy in SoC system architecture design. Also knowledge in RAN physical layer is preferred together with design experience in the following fields,

• DSP/ARM/CPU micro-architecture,

• Vector/matrix/graph processors,

• SRAM/DRAM/cached system,

• AI-based compute architectures,

• Interconnect and interfaces,

• Scheduling and orchestration of power, compute and memory,

• Multi-threaded software.

MS or Ph.D in electrical engineering, computer architecture, or equivalent, is required.

The successful candidate has highly developed skills in finding new innovative solutions, strategic thinking and strong ability to collaborate with colleagues since a person in this senior position leads and drives technical activities together with others. Experience from international multi-cultural workplaces is a plus. As we are a global company the candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
